Newtown Record Fair with the Voigtländer Nokton 17.5mm/1:0.95 and Panasonic GX9

This is the sixth of a series of articles showcasing pictures taken on the Voigtländer Nokton 17.5mm/1:0.95. These pictures were taken at the Newtown Record Fair at the Bank Hotel.

Newtown Record Fair is a monthly vinyl record event in the heart of Newtown. Started in June 2017, it is presented by 2SER Sydney community radio and hosted by vinyl enthusiasts and djs. Open from 11am – 4pm each first Saturday of the month in the back beer garden of The Bank Hotel, Newtown, there are 30,000 vinyl records of all formats and genres for sale.

I visited the January fair with the GX9 and Nokton 17.5mm to try out the lens in an intimate setting, and yes, to drink the craft beer and buy some vinyl.

These photos turned out quite nice. I would have liked a little more pop and colour in the photos, but the overall results are rather pleasing.
