Sydney Architecture and Street Art with the Voigtländer Nokton 40mm 1:1.2 and Sony α7R

This is the third of a series of articles showcasing pictures taken on the Voigtländer Nokton 40mm 1:1.2. These pictures were taken around various places around the Sydney central business district focusing on Darling Square.

Darling Square is a new urban neighbourhood combining residential units with food and entertainment shops located on the former site of the Sydney Entertainment Centre. The curious looking circular building that looks like it’s wrapped by a swirl of planks is The Exchange, housing the City of Sydney Library and the ground floor is a food court called Maker’s Dozen.

The vintage bus in the photos takes visitors to and from the Queen Victoria Building to the Sydney Bus Museum.

These pictures show how versatile the lens is in the ability to capture a mix of wide angle architecture shots, street art but also intimate close ups of objects.
