The palest of pinks against an overcast sky
The winter sky in Melbourne can be overcast, and that overcast sky makes a perfect backdrop for this pale pale pink rose.
This is another of a series of images from the State Rose Garden at Werribee, taken in winter. Some people think Melbourne’s sky is overcast all winter, so let’s play up to that stereotype with this image, setting this pale pink against the flat grey. It’s that flat grey which shows up the pale pink.
