Head horizontal, no matter what angle his body and wings are at
I am trying out a new image processing package, and I thought I’d go through some of the images I shot of River the black kite soaring through the sky. I think it’s interesting to see how River’s head is always horizontal, even when his body and wings are almost vertical, banking.
These images were shot with the Sony 135mm GM lens on a Sony A1, at f/1.8 1/2000 using bird eye autofocus; the first image is ISO 640, but the other two are ISO 250. The images are cropped.
